Argentina Food Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 can (12 oz.) roast beef from Argentina, undrained, or your own leftover roast beef
  • 1 doz. corn tortillas
  • Vegetable oil
  • Toothpicks
  • 2 avocados

Argentina Food Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Put roast beef in bowl and shred with fork. Warm tortillas slightly.
(Otherwise they break when you try to roll them.) Put some roast beef on one end of the tortilla and roll (a thin roll like an enchilada). Secure with toothpick. Fry in hot oil on all sides until crisp.
Peel and mash avocados and add salt to taste. Garnish the top of each flauta with avocado, or spoon some on each plate for dipping. Enjoy the flautas Argentina style !

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • a pinch of saffron
  • 1 liter (about 1 quart) fish stock
  • 3 tablespoons rice
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 16 mussels, washed, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Preparation time: 15 minutes Cooking time: 30 minutes Wine: Sémillon from Mendoza
Fry the onion in a pan until brown, add the boiling stock and the saffron; let it simmer for a few minutes. Add the rice and let it simmer for ten minutes, until it becomes tender.
Wash the sand from the mussels, remove them from their shells and chop them up. Add to the soup and finish cooking the rice, keeping the pan covered.
Season with salt and pepper.
It can be served in bowls, cups or soup-plates, with a generous sprinkling of chopped parsley. The Argentina food recipe is ready to serve...nice...! Enjoy the soup !

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. boiling water
Argentina Food Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
In a heavy non-ferrous pan, heat sugar over low heat, stirring with long handled metal spoon until melted and straw colored. Remove from heat and very slowly stir in boiling water. Stir until smooth. Pour into shallow round baking dish, 10 inches.

  • 1 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 eggs

Argentina Food Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour over cooled caramelized sugar. Pour slowly so caramelized sugar stays on bottom. Place in a water bath. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until set.
Remove from oven and let cool. Chill in refrigerator. Loosen edges and turn out onto flat dish to serve. Top with fresh strawberries...nice ! Enjoy it !

Argentina Food Recipe Ingredients:
# 2 cups cooked chicken meat. This should be cut into small pieces.
# 1/2cup fine lard
# 1 large chopped onion
# 1 scallion diced finely.
# 2 tablespoons flour, leveled
# 1/2 cup chicken broth, to near boil (Vegetable broth can be substituted)
# 1 to 2 table spoons paprika
# t teaspoon ground cumin
# 1/2 to 3 teaspoon crushed red pepper (depending on heat)
# Diced parsley to taste, salt.

Argentina Food Recipe INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Heat lard in medium or large sized frying pan,
2. Add onion then cook till they brown
3. Add scallions, these should be diced small.
4. Add flour, cook till brown, then add broth (Chicken or vegetable).
5. Add all spices (Paprika, cumin, crushed red pepper, chopped parsley) and cook for one minute. Be sure and mix ingredients.
6. Add chicken meat, season to taste. If mixture turns out too think correct it by adding a little more broth or water. Let cool before filling empanadas...nice ! Enjoy it !

Argentina Food Recipe Ingredients:
# 2 cups roughly grated cheese (mozzarella is best)
# 2 eggs separated
# 1 - 1/2 tablespoon flour
# Salt and nutmeg to taste.

Argentina Food Recipe INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Beat egg yolks until yellow colored, add spices and fold in flour.
2. Beat egg whites till stiff peaks form, add salt and let sit.
3. Blend grated cheese into egg yolk mixture, and then carefully fold in egg whites.
4. Place fillings by tablespoonfuls into dough rounds. Fold over and seal, bake in very hot oven until brown. (around 400’ – 450’). Serve hot.

* 250 g ground almonds
* 300 g butter
* 225 g confectioners' sugar
* lemon, rind of
* vanilla essence
* 3 eggs
* almond essence
* 1/4 kg plain flour

1.Beat the butter with the sugar and essences.
2.Add the eggs one at a time.
3.Incorporate the flour and the almonds and knead lightly.
4.Place dough in the fridge for about 1/2 hour.
5.Roll out the dough and cut out rounds.
6.Bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes on greased and floured baking sheets.
7.Take 2 rounds and put the together with marmalade, melted chocolate or dulce de leche.
8.then you can also roll the wet edges in shaved coconut.

Argentina Food Recipes Ingredients

* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 1 tablespoon oregano
* 1 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1/2-1 teaspoon red pepper
* 1/2 cup raisins
* 1/2 cup chopped olive
* salt & pepper
* croissant dough or phyllo dough

Argentina Food Recipes Instructions
1.Cook beef, onions, oregano, cumin and red pepper till onions are almost transparent.
2.Turn off burner and add raisins, olives, salt and pepper.
3.The dough should be in the shape of a circle 4-5 inches in diameter (shape croissant dough or cut circles in phyllo).
4.Place 1 Tablespoon of filling in the middle.
5. Fold dough in half and press edges together.
6.Make a seal by folding over the edge of the dough.
7.Brush top of empanadas with milk and place on greased cookie sheet.
8.Bake in 425F degree oven until browned on bottom and top...and the Argentina Food recipe os empanadas is ready to serve...enjoy it !
